These sari covered notepads are handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. They have been expertly crafted using a mixture of contemporary and traditional methods and the pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for travelling.
The paper used in these notepads is handmade using recycled cotton (also known as khadda, kaddi or khaddi) leftover from the massive garment industry in India. It is acid-free because we only use unbleached cotton and it produces a beautiful paper; easy to write, draw or paint on.
The sari material comes from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making.
Due to the handmade nature of these products, colour and designs may slightly vary.
